The Happy Plaice Beach House : Details

Thank you for looking at our beach house!

We are pleased to introduce you to our much loved holiday home.

We are currently taking bookings for 2022.

We are happy to receive bookings for weekends, full weeks and short breaks.

The accommodation is a detached single story “New England” style Superior Beach House.

it has open planned living areas, including a fully equipped modern kitchen with integrated washing machine/dryer and dishwasher. 

A dining table for family meals, a lounge area with a log burning stove and a smart TV.

There is one house bathroom with a shower over.

Free WiFi is available within the accommodation.

The bi-folding doors lead onto a decking area with outdoor seating. At the back of the property there is a grassed area suitable for children to play safely or enjoy a summer BBQ, with bench seating.

The property has 2 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed. Bedroom 2 can be configured as a twin or zip-locked into a super king size bed. Both bedrooms have TVs with built in DVD players.

Bed linen and towels are included.

Travel cot with mattress and a highchair are available.

We are dog friendly and accept well behaved dogs, all we ask is that the dogs stay out of the bedrooms and sofas are fully covered with the blankets that we provide.

The accommodation is a few hundred yards from the children’s play area and the site has direct and private access to the beautiful Filey beach where you can stay and play or take a walk along the sands to the Victorian seaside town of Filey.

The Bay:

The Bay Resort stands on the site of one of the first Billy “Butlin’s” holiday camps, the Art Deco home of Billy still sits on the cliffs above the bay.

The Bay Resort is much less commercialised than its predecessor and offers family and pet friendly accommodation all year round.
